Isa Sánchez (she/her) was born and raised in sunny Miami, Florida. Growing up in a loud Cuban household, Isa learned to use her voice at a young age! She went on to develop her voice and artistry at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre.

 

During her time in Boston, Isa would go on to make her professional debut as Mimi Marquez in RENT. A bilingual performer, she is passionate about bringing Latiné stories to life and frequently performs in New Works.

As Chita Rivera once told her,  "You are everything... with a great beat!" Isa aims to lead a life of versatility and creativity, centering the very practice of storytelling which keeps her connected to her family's roots in Cuba. The beat of the island lives on in those stories, and echoes in the artistry Isa carries into her work as she takes on New York and beyond.
