Isa Sánchez (she/ella) was born and raised in sunny Miami, FL. Growing up in a loud Cuban household, Isa learned to use her voice at a young age! She went on to develop her voice at the Boston Conservatory, where she earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, Summa Cum Laude.

 

During her time in Boston, Isa would make her professional debut as Mimi Marquez in RENT. A bilingual performer, she is passionate about bringing Latiné stories to life and frequently performs in New Works.

Chita Rivera once told her,  "You are everything... with a great beat!" Isa takes this message to heart, and with it, aims to lead a creative life of versatility. It is the practice of storytelling that has kept her connected to her family's roots in Cuba. The beat of the island lives on in the stories passed down to her, and echoes in the artistry Isa carries into her work.
